Are payable to insured persons during a period of release from work due to the necessity of taking personal care of the sick child under 14 years of age, and in some cases the healthy child under 8 years of age or other sick member of the family. The care allowance is payable during a period of not more than 60 days in the calendar year for the healthy child under 8 years of age or the sick child under 14 years of age, and – for the sick child aged more than 14 years or other sick member of the family – not more than 14 days in the calendar year.
