Short-term allowances and benefits
Include: sickness allowance, rehabilitation benefit, compensatory allowance, maternity allowance, care allowance, funeral grant.
The expenditure for these benefits is financed from the Social Insurance Fund from the resources of:
- the sickness fund for sickness allowances, rehabilitation benefits, compensatory allowances, maternity allowances, care allowances.
- the accident fund for sickness allowances, rehabilitation benefits, compensatory allowances paid in respect of accidents at work and occupational diseases.
- the disability pension fund for funeral grants.
Short-term benefits are payable to persons insured who are covered by sickness or accident insurance on a compulsory or voluntary basis.
